Are You A Responsible Teenage Parenting
Whether you are 25, 35 or just 15, if you have a baby then along with it comes a huge responsibility. (by teenparentingmagazine )
Although this baby may not have been planned, the fact is that a baby doesn’t ask to be conceived, the baby was conceived as a result of your actions.
Having a baby doesn’t mean that your life is ruined and you can’t fulfil your dreams. It does mean that your plans have changed and therefore your path to fulfilling your dreams may have altered.
Many young teenage parents make the decision to continue with their schooling after the baby is born. By continuing with your eduction you are giving both yourself and your baby the best chance at a good future.
It isn’t easy juggling a baby and a high school eduction as raising a baby is a full time job. You will need support possibly from your parents and someone to take care of the baby while you are attending school.
Not only will you have to do your homework with parenting books after school but you will also need to take care of your baby. There is feeding, bathing, changing and your evenings will be quite busy. You may not get much sleep and could find yourself getting quite run down.
As hard as that may seem, in the long term it will be the best choice that you can make.
Along with being a responsible parent you have the responsibility of deciding how many children you are going to have. If you are a very young teenager, the most responsible thing you can do is to delay having anymore children until you are a little older and have your life more organised.
There are many young mothers who will continue to have more babies quite soon after their first. These mothers won’t be able to continue their education and will spend their life relying on government support.
A good eduction will give you better employment opportunities and will give you a better lifestyle than living on government support.
Parents are a huge role model for their children and children tend to learn much of their life habits by mimicking their parent’s behaviour. So if you display a lifestyle of someone with a good eduction and a good job, then you’re children are more likely to grow up and get a good education also.
If you spend your life living on government support then there is a good chance that your children will grow up with little life goals and will happily accept a life living on government support.
A baby cannot think for itself and it is a huge responsibility to make your life style decisions that not only affect you but also your baby. You are in charge of your life and it is up to you to not give up but aim for your goals and make your life, and your baby’s life, the life that you always dreamed of having.
